SANDY BEACH

Public BBQ

Wantabadgery camp spot, nestled along the Murrumbidgee River, offers a tranquil escape adorned with a choir of cockatoos and cows across the river, a testament to nature's vitality. The camping area, spacious and grassy, is in need of a trim. Toilets, which lack lighting, require cleaning, with one in particular reported as full. The council provides bins throughout the area, though cleanliness is a shared responsibility, and a call to action for campers to tidy up after themselves is evident. The council's maintenance is weekly. Despite these hiccups, it remains a well-liked spot for its serene setting and ample space. However, the lack of fresh drinking water and spotty phone signal are worth noting.
